Methodology
Methodology
Out of the 485 shots, many were complex for example, large / heavy city environments, lots of volumetric atmos, and heavy water simulations. One of the unique aspects of Blade Runner is that the story transpires around multiple locations / sectors. Meaning, we had a comprehensive map of the Blade Runner world, and there are some sequences where we travel between sectors, requiring the environments to reflect this creatively.

Being involved from the very start of the show allowed me to help set up and guide a new production team. Additionally, handling on-set data provided by another vendor introduced unique challenges that required extra bandwidth.
