Games Of Thrones - Ident
Delivery
The task was to re-create a ‘Games of Thrones’ ident for Sky (broadcast company). Also, the text would be used on jumbo billboards, and any advertising (online, posters, newspapers etc.) for the new season.
Methodology
HOB originally designed the GOT ident, however they couldn’t share any CG assets with Sky, only the 2d (wing) element. As we needed a very high-resolution output (12k) my task was to re-create an identical replica of what they did.
Technical
I was solely responsible for creating the text, modelled by hand + shading. Replicated the camera work, lit and rendered. Composited it together with the 2D element, before passing it over). This was likely used for multiple idents throughout the seasons, in the UK. I know it was used on multiple jumbo billboards throughout the UK, posters and newspapers.

Just myself on this one before passing it over to an editorial team.
