Games Of Thrones - Ident

The task was to recreate the Game of Thrones ident for Sky, with the text also used on jumbo billboards and in advertising for the new season across online, posters and newspapers. HOB designed the original but could not share any CG assets with Sky, only the 2D wing element. As a 12K output was required, I recreated an identical replica of their work. I was solely responsible for the text, which I modelled by hand and shaded. I replicated the camera work, lit and rendered the shot and composited it with the 2D element before passing it to an editorial team. The work was likely reused across several UK idents over the seasons, and I know it appeared on jumbo billboards, posters and newspapers throughout the country.
